As a dedicated Marine Biologist currently pursuing a master’s degree in Water and Coastal Management at the University of Bologna, I am focused on the intersection of marine ecosystems and sustainable development. In 2026 I joined the Azores Deep Sea Research Group under the supervision of Dr. Telmo Morato to develop my master’s thesis about improved systematic conservation planning in the deep sea using cost-effective biodiversity assessments.

My interests lie in marine conservation planning where I aim to contribute to innovative solutions that protect our aquatic environments. I am committed to fostering a deeper understanding of marine life and promoting practices that ensure the health and resilience of our coastal and marine resources.
